These terms apply when you buy from Ameer of Tonk through this website. Placing an order means you accept them, so please read them first.

Our pieces

Every piece is made by hand in silver and set with natural stones. Colour, grain and small variations between one piece and the next are a feature of handwork, not a fault, and photographs are indicative rather than exact. Weights and dimensions are given as close approximations.

Orders and prices

Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it to you; until then we may decline it — for example if a piece is no longer available or a price has been listed in error. Prices shown on the site are the prices charged, in the currency displayed at checkout. Any delivery charge, duty or import tax is stated before you confirm, or is payable by you on arrival where the destination country levies it.

Payment

You may pay online where that option is offered, or place the order and settle with us directly, in which case we will contact you to arrange payment. Pieces are dispatched once payment has cleared.

Made to order

Some pieces are made after you order them. Where that is so we will tell you the expected timescale. Dates given for making and delivery are estimates given in good faith and are not guaranteed.

Delivery

We dispatch through insured, tracked services. Risk passes to you on delivery. Please check your parcel on arrival and tell us within 48 hours if anything is damaged or missing.

Returns

If a piece is not right, tell us within 7 days of delivery and return it within 14 days, unworn and in its original packaging, and we will exchange it or refund it. Pieces made or engraved to your specification, and earrings, cannot be returned unless they are faulty. Return postage is yours unless the piece is faulty or we sent the wrong item.

Faulty pieces

Nothing here affects your statutory rights. If a piece is faulty we will repair, replace or refund it. Ordinary wear, tarnish from lack of care, accidental damage and work done by another jeweller are not faults.

Care

Silver tarnishes. Keep your pieces dry, away from perfume and cosmetics, and stored separately in a soft pouch. We are happy to advise on cleaning.

Our content

The designs, photographs and text on this site belong to Ameer of Tonk and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

Liability

We are responsible for loss that follows directly from our failure to meet these terms. We are not responsible for indirect loss, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan have jurisdiction.
